1959-1976

Reverend E. Harrison Clark served as Assistant Pastor in Mount Hermon Baptist Church for 17 years.

Reverend Clark was born in Columbia, South Carolina in 1893. He attended St. Mary’s Parochial School, and in 1908 entered Howard High School later to be admitted to Allen University, Columbia South Carolina. He came to New York City in 1912, and was admitted to C.C.N.Y. for advanced study, graduating on June 3rd 1915. In later years he became a teacher at Textile High School, in New York. With all these studies, he was a Master Taylor and Designer.

Reverend Clark was a member of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Greater New York and Vicinity. He worked so untiringly for humanity.

Reverend Clark was married to the former Alberta Mae Thompson of Little Rock Arkansas.

Reverend E. Harrison Clark entered eternal rest June 1976.
